Translation is about more than just knowing another language. It is also about knowing the subject and knowing the client. The better we know your organization's particular ways of expressing itself and the more we know about the topic for translation, the better the results will be. Our experience has shown that the best results come from working closely with clients. This means we often have questions and want to discuss the material for translation with the client. We attempt to take a humble approach to translation. We are inquisitive and are not afraid to ask what might be considered "obvious" questions. Our goal is to make the translation process as easy as possible for our clients. We can receive and deliver material by e-mail, diskette or regular mail. Regardless of where on the globe you are, we can provide the fast, professional and personal service you demand.

We work with both PC and Macintosh file formats and can help clients localize layout. For example, clients can send us a Pagemaker document and we will deliver the text in the same format.

Our high-speed Internet connection means we can easily receive and send 20 MB attachments and larger. We conduct daily backups of all our active computers to decrease the chance of delays and lost work.

Advice to purchasers of translation services
You can influence the quality of your translations by thinking about a few important aspects of the translation process. Make sure the original material is thoroughly proofed and in its final form. Provide as much reference material as possible to the translator.

Finally, be ready for a dialog with the translator.
